1
Buy mice in bulk. You will save money and can freeze them until you're ready to feed your snake. Start with pinkie sized mice and gradually work your way up depending on how large your snake gets. Buy pre-killed mice in order to help lower the risk of a mouse injuring your snake.
-
2
Take out a mouse from your freezer and let it thaw over night. You may consider writing a note and keep it in a place you will frequently see to remember to feed your snake so your mouse isn't forgotten.

3
Use a set of tongs to pick up the mouse. This will prevent you from having to touch it and will also keep your human scent off of the mouse.
-
4
Lower the mouse into the cage and dangle it back and forth in front of the snake. This will give the snake the appearance that the mouse is alive and moving.
-
5
Dangle the mouse until the snake strikes it. Quietly remove the tongs and secure the snake's cage. Do this as carefully as possible so you don't scare the snake and discourage it from eating.

Tips & Warnings
Over time, your snake may not need you to dangle the mouse. You can just drop the mouse into the cage and let the snake eat it on its own.
Do not over feed your snake. An adult corn snake can eat up to two medium to large mice. If you overfeed your snake it will regurgitate it.
Leave the snake alone while it eats to prevent it from regurgitating its food.
