1. The first tip is to drink more water. Especially after dinner (which should be your last meal) you might still be "hungry." Try drinking some water and see if you were thirsty rather than hungry.

2. Eating fruit is a good idea if you still want something healthy to eat at night. How about some grapes? Or better yet a small bowl of canned pineapple? Regardless, fruit is a good food item for night time.

3. I would also try a mixture of almonds, raisins, cereal and yogurt for a nice evening snack. Just try to think of healthy and tasty foods that you can eat before going to bed.

4. You can pop a bag of lowfat popcorn (do not add extra butter) and munch on it. While watching television or surfing the net (and reading some more of my eHow articles) you can have a light tasty snack.

5. The other option is not to eat anything. Give this a try: After dinner do not eat anything. You will get hungry and you will feel the urge to go into the refrigerator. Please resist the urge. Go to bed hungry. When you wake up in the morning you will notice two things. You will be hungry (time to "break" the "fast") and your stomach (guess what?) will be flatter.
