What is better than recycling egg cartons and using them as a counting tool for your preschooler! Its fun! Its easy! It help the environment!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Egg carton
  • Sharpie Marker (Any color)
  • Small objects (cheerios, raisins, peanuts, dry beans)

Step1
Take the egg carton and on the inside of each cup write the numbers 1 - 12.
Step2
Have the child place the correct amount of objects into each cup.
Step3
Then have the child count backwards removing objects out of the cup!

Tips & Warnings

  • Use edible items for a treat!
  • Decorate the egg carton with the child for a fun extra activity!
  • Adult supervision is a must! Child may choke on objects if left unattended!
