Knowing how to type is an extremely valuable skill. Rather than paying for an expensive class or software. Just learn to type online for free. You can go at your own pace in the privacy of your own home. There is nothing to download, just get on the internet and type.

Instructions

1. Go to goodtyping.com, the link is in the resources section below.

2. Try this program without signing up by clicking on the 'Try it without registering' link underneath the sign in area. This will take you to the first lesson. There is a picture of a keyboard telling you where to put your fingers. Just push the keys they tell you to.

3. If you like the way the program feels register for free. They just want very basic information like your name and an e-mail address.

4. Pick a keyboard style. Keyboards vary in different countries. Make sure you click on your country.

5. After registering you will go straight into your first lesson. There are twenty seven total. If you need to quit just exit out of it and you can pick up where you left off later.

6. Enjoy learning to type online for free.
