How to Make Beef Soup

Perfect for those cold winter nights to warm your entire family. Ingredient heavy but very quick to throw together for a meal that looks like you've had it cooking all day.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 lbs. Beef Stew Meat
  • 2 Cups French Onion Soup
  • 5 Soup Cans of Water
  • 1 - 6oz. can of tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. basil, fresh or dried
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 2 Cups Celery, sliced
  • 1 can of wax beans
  • 1 can of kidney beans
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced and halved
  • parmesan cheese
  • Loaf of french bread

Step1
In large pot, brown meat in oil until cooked through.
Step2
Add water, onion soup, tomato paste and seasonings. Heat to boiling and add vegetables. Cook until vegetables are soft.
Step3
Serve in bowls topped with parmesan cheese and french bread.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add the vegetables you like to make it your own.
  • Can also use mozzarella cheese if you prefer
  • Can be made in a crockpot
