Choosing the right members for your mastermind group is an essential component for its success. Below are tips on finding and choosing great mastermind member.

1. Networking is a great way to find people to join your mastermind group. You may find someone at a rotary meeting, small business association meeting or even an internet forum.

2. Choose people with different back grounds and experiences. And don't be afraid to ask someone with more experience than you to join. Their strengths may be your weaknesses and vice versa.

3. Also interview each potential member before allowing them to join. Make sure they are committed to the group and are open to new ideas. You do NOT want someone who is critical of other people and ideas.

• Remember to select people who are going to implement ideas and not just talk about them.
• Don't be afraid to fire members for non participation, not following guidelines or for having a negative attitude.
• And remember, you will only get as must out of your mastermind group as you are willing to put in.
