Do you suffer from sore heels, leg cramps or other muscle ailments when you run? These tips to improve your posture may help alleviate your pain.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • concentration
  1. Step 1

Run leaning slightly forward from the hips.

  2. Step 2

Run bending your elbows 90 degrees and swing them at your sides, not crossing in front of your body.

  3. Step 3

Run looking about 20 yards ahead as you go.

  4. Step 4

Run landing on your forefoot- not on your heel or toes- and lift each foot quickly off the ground to keep your heels from making contact.

  5. Step 5

Take steps that are no more than 75% of your usual stride. To speed up, increase your steps per minute, not your stride length.
