Have you ever had somebody look at you and ask if you have lost weight? Well, it happened to me. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on, but I was obviously losing fat with little or no effort. Let me tell you how.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Cup
  • Hot water
  • Chinese Green Tea
Step1
Drink Authentic Chinese Green Tea

Everybody’s metabolism is different, but I can tell you that I did lose fat by drinking Chinese green tea and I didn't even realize it. I did not have a weight loss program and did not exercise on a consistent basis. Traveling from country to country and continent to continent in a 7 day timeframe does not leave the body craving exercise. While auditing in Taiwan, my clients gave me two large boxes of Chinese green tea as a gift. I got hooked on orange pekoe when I traveled to Canada but was basically pleased with almost any tea. I drank a cup of tea a day so when I received the Chinese green tea, I drank one cup daily, usually in the morning. I liked the taste and it gave me the “lift” I needed to focus on my workload and get through the day. One day a co-worker mentioned that I looked slimmer. I thought she was just being kind so I didn’t pay much attention - just smiled and thanked her. Then I noticed I was getting the same comment from other co-workers and friends. The biggest confirmation of all was when I put on my favorite pantsuit and needed a belt to hold it up! My first thought was YES! The second thought was "why did I lose weight? Am I ill?" So, I scheduled a physical exam with my doctor. The weight loss was evident. Another surprise came during my physical exam when my doctor told me my good cholesterol was high and the best he had seen in my age group in a long time. He asked what I was doing and I asked him about the green tea. He said doctors have seen this effect for years and was still researching green tea and people's ability to lose weight. I don't know exactly how it works, but it worked for me and I still drink it every morning.

Walk From End of the Grocery Store Parking Lot.

Losing fat does not have to be a chore. Another effortlessly way to lose fat is to walk. Try parking your car at the end of the grocery store parking lot and walk to the entrance. I have been doing this for years now, ever since I read it on one of those "lose weight" websites. I increase my speed to a brisk walk causing my heart rate to go higher. By the time my shopping is over, I feel like I have burned off those fat calories and have improved my chances of not getting heart disease.

Reduce cholesterol.

Reducing cholesterol can be done by doing cholesterol diets, watching what you eat, or taking prescription medication. However, I have always believed in maintaining good health as naturally as possible. After my doctor told me about the good cholesterol results, I decided to research green tea. According to the Green Tea Library by Ms. Nadine Taylor, "Studies of large populations have found that, on average, the more green tea that people drink the lower their total and LDL cholesterol levels". Ms. Taylor's report went on to say that "the best results were seen with about 10 daily cups of green tea; but in one human study, as little as 2 cups per day lowered LDL cholesterol levels by as much as 13 mg. Green tea may also help keep cholesterol levels down even when the diet is high in fat". (I do not recommend 10 cups because you probably won't sleep for a week!) I sincerely believe the Chinese green tea I drink help me lose fat and control weight gain as well as boosts my good cholesterol levels. For years, I drunk other green teas and did not see the same effect which is why I emphasize the Chinese brand. This brand is the only one where I know I lose weight and reduce cholesterol levels.

on 7/22/2008 momofour - try a chinese or international market. I get mine from the international plaza in Georgia. You might be able to get it off the internet but there have been some problem with food items coming out of China in the last couple of months so I don't know if you'll run into problems with that or not.
