Garlic is my favorite ingredient to cook with. I find a way to use it in basically every dish I make. But because of this, my hands often end up with the potent after-smell all day long. Here's how to fix it:
A sink or spoon (or other stainless steal material)
Soap and Water
Step1
The easiest method to try is rubbing your hands against the inside of your sink. The stainless steal will combat the garlic odor immediately. You can rub a spoon onto your hands if you want to try this.
Step2
If for some reason you don't have these materials available to you in your kitchen, lemon works too. Squeeze the lemon juice onto your hands; you'll end up with a fresh lemony scent instead of the garlic-y odor.
Step3
Always wash your hands, no matter what you're cooking with. Keep it clean!
