How to Watch Blu-ray Movies On Your Playstation 3

Watch your favorite horror film on your Sony PS3.

Sony's Playstation 3 doubles as a Blu-ray player as well as a gaming console. This works well in homes where space is limited and/or the family simply doesn't want a lot of home theater components gathering dust. Ditch the separate gaming device and Blu-ray player and consolidate your entertainment with your Sony PS3.

Instructions

1. Insert your Blu-ray disc into your Sony PS3 disc slot. When you place the disc slightly in the slot, the PS3 should recognize it and draw it completely in. If it doesn't, you may be having issues with your Blu-ray drive and need to have it professionally inspected.

2. Note the color of the eject indicator light. Once it is a solid blue, the Blu-ray disc is properly seated inside the PS3.

3. Open the "XMB" menu and click on the Blu-ray disc icon if the Blu-ray does not begin to play automatically. In most cases, you should be able to skip this step, as your Blu-ray should begin to play once your PS3 console accepts it.
