Homemade chocolate sauce adds appeal to almost any dessert. Top your favorite ice cream with chocolate fudge sauce during the summer months. Use this topping during the winter with molten lava cakes fresh from the oven. Drizzle chocolate sauce on angel food cake or over a bowl of strawberries to add a little richness to your lower-calorie desserts. Fill a crystal bowl with chocolate sauce during parties so your guests can dip pieces of fruit in it. Fill a squeeze bottle with warm chocolate sauce -- use it to garnish dessert plates.
