How to Find Low Cost Entertainment

Free events, and local attractions abound during the summer months in many towns, as well as cities across the country. Chances are in your part of town it's happening too.

• Daily paper
• Internet access

1. Grab a copy of your local paper, and turn to the entertainment section. Look for local events in your area. There will be found a list of local companies, troops, and groups that are pining for an audience to be had. Many theatre troops, dance groups, and local charities are working away trying to attract people to their events to get exposure.
2. Turn to the internet, and start at www.google.com or whichever search engine you prefer. Type in the city of choice, add a couple of keyword such as "free" & "entertainment", then hit search. Many options should pop right up. Be certain to type the name of the city you are in. Even a small town has something going on during the weekend.
3. Walk, or drive wherever it is you choose, perhaps pack a couple of snacks, and begin the free entertainment.
