How to make an all natural mouthwash to fight bad breath and gum disease

Would you like to have the fresh breath of the over the counter mouthwashes without the harsh burning that is associated with them? Would you like to maintain healthy gums or if you are, like so many combat gingivitis or periodontal disease? This all-natural mouthwash will do this and more. The essential oils used in this mouthwash are essential to good oral hygiene. Spearmint oil helps to freshen breath as well as adding a pleasant taste and smell. Tea Tree oil kills tarter causing bacteria to help freshen breath, reduces inflammation, and is an antiseptic. Eucalyptus oil is an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and adds in combating gum disease. Oregano oil is powerful when it comes to fighting gum disease and periodontal disease. It has powerful, antibacterial and antibiotic properties as well as being an antiseptic and strong analgesic for tooth or gum pain. Hydrogen peroxide helps to fight bad breath and kills anaerobic bacteria.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 cups of hot distilled water
  • 20 drops of Spearmint oil
  • 20 drops of Tea Tree oil
  • 20 drops of Eucalyptus oil
  • 20 drops of Oregano oil
  • ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide
  • Quart jar
  • Pan to heat water
  • Stove
  • Funnel
Step1
Heat three (3) cups of distilled water in a non-reactive pot until it is hot. Just before the water, boils remove it from the stovetop.
Step2
mason jar Pour into a quart mason jar using a funnel so you do not burn yourself.
Step3
spearmint Add the following essential oils:
20 drops of Spearmint oil

Tea Tree oil 20 drops of Tea Tree oil
Step5
Eucalyptus oil 20 drops of Eucalyptus oil
Step6
Oregano 20 drops of Oregano oil
Step7
Hydrogen Peroxide Add one half (1/2) cup of hydrogen peroxide.
Step8
Place lid on jar and close.
Step9
Shake
Step10
Rinse mouth for at least two minutes.
Step11
Spit contents in mouth into sink.
Step12
DO NOT SWALLOW
