Make quick and easy Barbeque sauce using items from your refridgerator and spice rack. Use this recipe for making enough bbq sauce for one or two people. I love making this for homemade french fries.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ketchup (bottle or 5 packets)
  • Mustard (bottle or 2 packets)
  • Molasses or pancake syrup
  • Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning (or your favorite seasonings)
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Tablespoon
  1. Step 1

Mix 5 packets of ketchup with 2 packets of mustard into mixing bowl. If using bottles of ketchup and mustard mix 6 tablespoons ketchup with 2 tablespoons of mustard. Sauce should be yellowish-brown in color.

  2. Step 2

Add one tablespoon of molasses or two tablespoons of pancake syrup to sauce.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle enough Mrs. Dash (or your favorite spices) onto sauce to coat top. Stir. Taste.

  4. Step 4

Use finished bbq sauce on meat, fries, or sandwhiches.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add spices to taste.
  • Add ketchup and/or molasses to thicken.
  • Use different spices for different flavored sauces.
  • Makes enough bar-b-q sauce for 1-2 people per meal.
  • Too much mustard makes sauce tangy, use syrup or molasses to sweeten.
