When it comes to dieting, all of us dread the idea. But when it comes down to it, we all want to eat healthy. And here is the way to do it--the growing trend of TheDailyPlate.com.
Sign up for a TheDailyPlate.com account. It's free (and don't go for the Gold account--everything that you really need comes with the free one) and easy to do!
Step2
Enter in your weight goals. With TheDailyPlate.com, you can type in your current weight, height and activity level, and then it can calculate your goals for you--if you want to gain weight, lose weight, or maintain your weight. Using this information, it will supply you with your daily allowed caloric intake.
Step3
Anytime you eat or drink anything, enter it into your "Plate." This program will track protein, carbs, fiber and caloric intake. It will show you the breakdown of fat, carbs and protein, and will tell you how many calories you have left for the day.
Step4
Add any physical activity. This site has definitely helped me watch my eating habits. If I notice I'm low on calories for the day, I know I have to eat light for dinner or go take a walk to make more calories available.
