Big Crumbs is an online site that allows you to save money with your online shopping while earning commissions on the purchases of people you refer to Big Crumbs.

When you sign up, however, you need to decide between being Crumb Saver or a Crumb Earner. This article will walk you through the information you need to make that decision.

Step 1

Crumb Savers on Big Crumbs earn rebates on their purchases at participating retailers - Big Crumbs actually boasts some of the highest rebates of the online sites. Crumb Savers also earn commissions on the purchases of anyone they refer to Big Crumbs.

Crumb Earners on Big Crumbs earn rebates on their purchases as well, but their rebates are not as high as Crumb Savers. So why would anyone want to choose being a Crumb Earner? Because Crumb Earners earn commissions on the purchases of their referrals AND their referrals' referrals. Up to five generations deep.

So how do you decide which is right for you?

If you do a lot of online shopping and only plan to refer a few friends and family or none at all - choose the high rebates you'll earn on your own purchases as a Crumb Saver.

If, however, you don't do a lot of online shopping OR if you'd like to make the most of the Big Crumbs earning program by referring as many people as possible, you'll want to opt for the greater income potential of being a Crumb Earner.

Once you opt to become a Crumb Earner, you cannot revert to being a Crumb Saver. You can, however, start as a Crumb Saver and then convert to being a Crumb Earner.

As a Crumb Earner, you will only earn commissions on generations past your first generation if that referral is a Crumb Earner. In other words, if you have a Crumb Saver in your 2nd - 5th generations, you will not earn commissions on his or her purchases.

Either way you go, Big Crumbs offers you lots of opportunity to both save and make money.
