Looking for a great fundraising idea for your club or organization? You can start an ongoing income for your group on eHow. It's easy, it's fun, and you work at your own pace.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet
  • Volunteer Writers
  • PayPal Account
  1. Step 1

Join eHow ~ Sign up for an eHow account.

  2. Step 2

Writer's Compensation ~ Sign up for eHow's Writer Compensation Program to make money. You will need to be a US resident and a PayPal account to receive compensation. (See Resources Below for Direct Link to this Program).

  3. Step 3

Permission Slips ~ Get written permission from volunteer writers (and their parents if under 18) to use their work without credit. Include information that the proceeds will be donated to the club or organization.

  4. Step 4

Get Writing! ~ Get your volunteer writers to work. Have them write step-by-step instructions for you to post on the club's eHow account. Make sure the articles are not offensive to you or your club or other parents. However, don't stifle creativity. Your How-To's should be broad and varied in subject to ensure more viewing and make money.

  5. Step 5

Post Articles ~ Post the written articles to your booster club's eHow account.

  6. Step 6

Announce Articles ~ If you have an email list of members and supporters, send out email announcements every time you add a new article. Also send out progress report emails to keep up interest. If you do not have an email list, start one. If your club has a website, announce new articles there. Viewers help make money.

  7. Step 7

Keep Writing ~ For more success on eHow, keep the articles coming. The more articles you have posted, the more money you will make.

Tips & Warnings
  • More Articles Means More Money
  • Allow for a Diverse Body of Article Topics
  • Always get WRITTEN permission before posting someone else' writing.
  • Look on the eHow Community Chatter Forum for additional marketing strategies.
  • Be sure the articles you post will not be offensive to your members or supporters.
