1. Write your own resume. Why would you hire a resume writer if they did not have their own resume to show. If you are showing the common public your resume you may want to leave some personal info off.

2. Go to your local career center. Yes they do have staff to help individuals make a resume, but most of the time they have to wait on a waiting list and they may or may not get what they need. They are usually more then happy to display your business card at the front desk.

3. Have a large car magnet printed at the local print shop to put on your car, advertising your service. This usually costs less then $20.

4. Consider, posting your advertisements and business cards places people go to look for jobs. Bill boards in the lobby at the local restaurants or coffee shops are great places to start.

5. Do not forget about visiting your local Library. Many Libraries have billboards and tables at the library entrance that local business can leave brochures and business cards.
