Things You'll Need:
- 4 family size tea bags
- Pot with lid
- 2 cups sugar
- gallon pitcher
- lemon
- pinch of baking soda or salt
- lemon wedge for garnish(optional)
- mint sprig for garnish (optional)

Step 1
Cut the lemon into half. Squeeze the lemon into the pan and drop the halves in as well. Add 4 cups of water.

Bring the water and lemon to a boil. Remove from heat.

Add the tea bags and cover. Let steep for 5 minutes.

Step 4
Add the sugar and pinch of baking soda to the pitcher. Pour the steeped tea into the pitcher. Toss the tea bags and lemon into your compost pile.

Stir the sugar and tea until sugar dissolves. Fill the pitcher with water and stir. Fill glass with ice and pour in tea. Garnish with mint sprig and lemon wedge. Enjoy
