Things You'll Need:
- shampoo, conditioner
- brush, comb
-
Step 1
Get a trim.
This is the most obvious way of keeping split ends at bay. Get a trim every 4-6 weeks. This will help the ends of your hair stay healthy and keep split ends to a minimum. -
Step 2
Condition.
Conditioner not only gives your hair a helathy shine, but also helps with those pesky split ends. Put conditioner on the ends of your hair, or wherever your split ends may be, and leave it there for a few minutes before rinsing. -
Step 3
Only brush dry hair.
Brushing wet hair only causes more split ends! When your hair is wet, it is very brittle, and easily broken. So resist the temptation, and wait for your hair to dry before tackling those tangles!
