Rosemary in this recipes puts a nice flavor to the asparagus, and eliminates a fatty cheese sauce. Adults and kids will enjoy it with natural flavorings.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Fresh Asparagus
  • Dried Rosemary
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pampered Chef Bar Pan or large pan with 1 inch edge

Step1
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Step2
Rinse asparagus, towel dry, and break off ends if needed (see tips and resources).
Step3
Place asparagus on your pampered chef bar pan in one even layer. Sprinkle on olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and add crushed dry rosemary (see tips). Roll the asparagus back and forth with your hands to evenly coat it.
Step4
Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Step5
Eat and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you hold the asparagus with a hand at both ends and bend, it will usually snap where it needs broken off. Save broken off pieces for soups.
  • I chop my rosemary in my pampered chef chopper before I sprinkle it onto the asparagus.
  • Kids love to eat this with their fingers.
  • Thinner stalks of asparagus are tastier than thick woody ones.
  • It's best to salt your asparagus right before it goes into the oven.
