Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• PcAnywhere software

1. Insert the pcAnywhere disk into your disk drive.
2. Click Symantec pcAnywhere in the installation window to begin the installation.
3. Follow the initial prompts and accept the Terms of Service.
4. Type a user name and organization name in the appropriate windows of the wizard.
5. Choose where to install the software. For most installation the default location will work great.
6. Choose the type of setup in the Custom Setup window. You can choose to go with the default settings, which are fine for most users, or customize the settings yourself. Custom settings allow you to choose which components to install.
7. Choose which programs to install as shortcuts on your desktop in the Ready to Install Window.
8. Click Install and follow the remaining prompts to for the type of installation you selected above.
9. Restart your computer. PcAnywhere is now installed and ready to use.
