Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small tree (real or artificial)
  • Small tree stand
  • Sugar cookie recipe and ingredients
  • Sugar cookie frosting
  • Toothpicks
  • String
  1. Step 1

Secure the tree in a small tree stand or a container filled with small rocks.

  2. Step 2

Bake several sugar cookies. The most important step is to use toothpicks to bake the cookies with a hole at the top. Simply break toothpicks in half and bake the cookies with the toothpicks still inserted.

  3. Step 3

Decorate the sugar cookies with sugar cookie frosting. Be creative!

  4. Step 4

Use string to thread each cookie. Tie the string so the loop is long enough to loop over tree branches.

  5. Step 5

Finally, enjoy your delicious tree. Allow friends and family to help themselves as the sweet tooth moves them.
