Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a a kit from your local drugstore that will have all the necessary components for performing a facial peel, such as Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel System. If you would rather not use this system, then visit your local drugstore and view the other facial peel systems that are available. Choose the best one that is suitable for the skin issue you will be working with.

    • 2

Locate someone that would benefit from a facial peel. Usually, a friend or family member will be more than willing to have this treatment done. Instead of spending tons of money on a spa treatment, they'll have the chance to get one for free. Not only is a facial peel a good way to get rid of unwanted wrinkles and discolorations, but it is also an excellent way to relax after a hard day of work.

    • 3

Clean the face of the person you will be giving the facial peel to. It is always an excellent idea to use a mild skin cleanser such as hypoallergenic facial soap to get rid of any unwanted dirt, oil or grime. If you don't take the time to perform this task, then you may not get the desired results you are looking for. You won't have to do a heavy duty cleaning, just enough to remove what is on the surface of the skin.

    • 4

Place the derma crystals on your friend or family member's face after it has been dried and cleaned. Cover the entire facial area like a mask. You'll need to cover every aspect of the face with this product for the best results. Take your time when doing this and gently massage the crystals into the skin for about a minute. You won't have to rub it in like your using a scrubbing pad for it to be effective.

    • 5

Apply the activator serum over the derma crystal mask with your fingertips. As soon as the serum is placed on, it will start to create a soft, white foam. This action causes all of the much needed conditioners of the facial peel to be exposed to the affected areas of the face. Keep the facial mask away from sensitive areas like the eyes and mouth. It's definitely not meant to be ingested internally.

    • 6

Continue to massage the foam facial mask over the face of your friend or family member for about a minute. This will give them soothing relief and also a chance to relax. Once you have completed this portion of the facial peel process, rinse their face completely with warm water and uses a wash cloth to dry the face. Try to avoid any hard, rubbing motions because this will irritate the skin unnecessarily. A few quick pats to the face should be more than enough to get rid of any excess water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always start with a clean face when giving a facial peel.

  • Avoid scrubbing roughly during the exfoliation process because it will cause redness.
