Step 1
Stroll along the Lakefront as you sample Mexican Cuisine and Beverages. Some of Milwaukee's finest Mexican restaurants are featured here. Sit on your favorite rock as you eat and drink while watching the sun set beneath the sky.
-
Step 2
Be safe and comfortable while at Mexican Fiesta. Wear shoes made for walking, a jacket (if the weather turns cool), and stay hydrated, especially if the weather is warm. There are cooling stations located throughout Mexican Fiesta that offer cool shower-like mists and a place to sit for awhile and sip water. Make sure children know your cell phone number if you get separated or how to find a security officer.
-
Step 3
Watch a dancing demonstration or other dance performance. There will be several to choose from. Consult the map and schedule you received when you walk through the Festival gates.
-
Step 4
If you need hotel rooms, consider staying at the Wyndham Milwaukee, but book early. You will receive a discount, festival-goer rate. Or, stay with family or friends.
-
Step 5
Ride the bus to and from the festival. You will save time and money and will not have to fight for a parking space. Buses run right to the gate and depart every half hour until an hour after Festival close. For more information, click on the link provided in this article.
-
Step 6
Attend the Mexican-style rodeo. This is a new feature and it is sure to be a hit. It is free with your admission and like nothing you have ever seen North of the border. This runs Saturday and Sunday during the Festival. Consult your schedule in the brochure for details. Arrive early as seating will be limited.
-
Step 7
Listen to Mexican Music and tunes on many different stages scattered throughout the Mexican Fiesta Festival site. You are sure to hear something that is pleasing to your ear.
