    Adding Stamps to Digital Photos

  1. Step 1

Open Microsoft Digital Image Software: The only way to add stamps to any of your photos is my using the Microsoft Digital Image Software program installed on your computer. Open the digital image software, more than likely the icon is on your destop. When the software program is open, you will see the Start Up Window in the center of the page. From this Start Up Window, you have the option to click on the "Open", "Import Pictures", "Digital Image Library", "Edit Multiple Images" or "Create a Project" icons inside the Start Up Window. Any of these icons will take you to where ever your photos are located.

  2. Step 2

Click on Effects in Toolbar. In order to add any stamp to a photograph, you first need to click on Effects in the toolbar, then Edges.

  3. Step 3

Click on Edges. Once under Edges, click on Stamped. Once on the Stamped page, there will be five different stamp options you can use. With the first three stamp; one having large green balls, another stamp has small green balls, then another stamp with overlapped green balls, you can choose from over fifty premade stamps. The last two stamp styles allow for using up to sixteen different premade stamp styles for your photographs.

  4. Step 4

Click on a Stamp for Photo: This is one of many stamps that can be used for your photos. This s a rubber ducky stamp which surrounds the whole entire photo. The rubber ducky color can not be changed, but the size of the stamp can be reduced or increased in size to fit your photograph.

  5. Step 5

Click on a Stamp for Photo. The stamps in this photo show the sixteen types of stamps that can be added to your photo from a heart, circle, star, starburst, or snowflake. Depending on the style of stamp in section one being used, any of these sixteen stamps colors can be changed to match your photograph.

  6. Step 6

Click on Effects in Toolbar. Another way to add or paint with a stamp, you first need to click on Effects in the toolbar, then scroll down to Paintbrush, then Stamps.

  7. Step 7

Click under Stamp Painting: Now, you have many options of stamps to place around your photo. You can use Stamps, Overlapped Stamps or Shapes for any photo you like. When you click on any of the Stamp icons in Step One, again, you have over sixty premade stamps to choose from. These stamp sizes can also be decreased or increased in size.

  8. Step 8

Click on Stamp Painting: Again, here is what it will look like of you decide to 'paint' with the stamps you decide to use. This is a fun and easy way to change the look of any of your photos. This is what the personalized, painted stamps look like on this photo. To create a personalized stamp, all you do is click on MAKE A STAMP in Step Two. Then, click on either Look in Gallery or Open a Picture. Now, click OK once finding the photo for a personalized stamp. Now, that photo will appear in the Select a Stamp box in Step Two. This stamp can be reduced or increased in size. Finally, like this photo, you can paint with it around one of your photos. Remember, if you want to keep the original photos, rename the new photo with something like STAMPS1 or STAMPS2. Then the original photo will not be changed.
