Creating a specialty bingo bag can be fun. It’s a great opportunity to express your personality and also add convenience to your bingo playing. All you need are a few personalized items and time to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Pick a theme for your bingo bag. This theme is one that should express “you.” Do you love dogs? Are you a chocoholic? Maybe you enjoy jewelry? Select a theme and go with it. It’ll be the barometer you use to dress up your bag.
Step2
Map out a design your bingo bag. Do it with a piece of paper and pencil. Just draw a little picture of your bag and what you want to put onto it. Do you want to add fur to the rim with diamond studs all over the rest of the bag? Maybe you want to sew on patches because you are the leader of a Girl Scout troop? Or, possible you want to apply stickers to it that glow in the dark? Do a mini design. Don’t worry if you can’t draw. This design is for your eyes only.
Step3
Get your bingo bag. You can do this in one of two ways. You can buy a manufactured bag. Or, you can sew one up using material from a fabric/craft store. If you go with the latter, try to use a pattern and material that can withstand blotter stains.
Step4
Pick up your supplies from the craft store. Go to your favorite one or ask a friend. Just be sure that it is one that has a lot of good stuff. You want to get your supplies for your bingo bag in one stop. Also, you want to give yourself the option to pick items you didn’t think about that fit your theme.
Step5
Create your specialized bag. Use a hot glue gun to apply bobbles or gems. Sew on patches or fabric decorations. Stick on peel off stickers. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the process

Tips & Warnings

  • Give yourself adequate space to create your bingo bag.
  • Be careful of how hot your glue gun gets. You don't want to burn yourself.
