There are days when everyone feels lazy. For the lazy tea lover, there is a simple way to get that perfect cup of tea with minimum effort. Here is a fun way to dip your teabag by making a tea dipper.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Toy
  • String or twine
  • Fishing hook
  • Glue or tape
  • Cup
  • Teabag
  1. Step 1

Purchase a kid's toy with a battery-operated motor that makes an appendage of the toy move up and down. Some ideas would be a toy crane, a toy whose head bobs back and forth or a toy where the arms move up and down.

  2. Step 2

Attach a length of string or twine to a fishing hook. The string should be long enough to create a dipping motion into your favorite teacup. The hook should not touch the ground if it was hanging from the appendage in it slowest position.

  3. Step 3

Secure the string to the appendage so the hook hangs vertically from the toy's appendage. Use glue, make a knot or use tape to secure the string to the toy.

  4. Step 4

Place your teacup of hot water under the hook. Take care not to burn your hand on the hot water when positioning the cup.

  5. Step 5

Hook the end of your teabag to the end of the fishing hook and allow to hang inside the teacup.

  6. Step 6

Press the power button on the toy and let the teabag dip in and out of the teacup.

  7. Step 7

Switch off the toy when the teabag has steeped long enough for your taste. Remove and discard the teabag.
