Today's technology enables people to make more and more connections online. It is difficult to figure out if a girlfriend's online friends are just that or something more. Determine if a girlfriend is cheating online so you can be in the know.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Note suspicious online behavior. Look for increased time online. Recognize whether a girlfriend chats with one particular person over and over. Attempt to read the computer screen over her shoulder. Notice if she minimizes the screen or clicks away from the screen really quickly when you enter the room.

  2. Step 2

Check her email. If a girlfriend is cheating online, she likely corresponds with her online lover via email as well as through instant messengers. If her email is not password protected, search through her email messages when she is away from her computer. If her email is password protected, capture her email passwords with "keylogging" software. Find appropriate software at Keylogger (see Resources).

  3. Step 3

Monitor her chat sessions. Keylogging software enables you to monitor chat sessions by capturing all of your girlfriend's keystrokes. Get on her computer while she is away to check her keystrokes. Some keylogging software such as Elite Keylogger 4.0, allows you to install and monitor the keystrokes remotely. Find Elite Keylogger 4.0 at Elite Keylogger. Check her keystrokes daily to determine if she is cheating online.

  4. Step 4

Pretend to be your girlfriend online. Get on her computer while she is away and communicate with the people through her instant messenger. Make sure you say the things she would say so you don't give yourself away.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you suspect your girlfriend is cheating online, talk to her about your concerns. When you secretly check her email, log her keystrokes and pretend to be her online, you risk breaking her trust.
