If you're looking for a place to encourage a healthy lifestyle, then you should check out the Livestrong.com website. On this site, you can read web articles discussing important health topics and take advantage of useful tools, like the ovulation calendar.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Log on to the Livestrong.com website (see Resources). At the bottom of the web page, you'll find a link to the ovulation calendar. You won't need to register to try out this tool.
Step2
Enter the first day of your last period into the required field. You'll want to include the month and exact day you started menstruating.
Step3
Type the average length of your menstrual cycle into the next field. You can measure your menstrual cycle by calculating the average number of days between your periods. Most women have a 28-day cycle, but you may have a longer or shorter cycle.
Step4
Give the length of your luteal phase if you know it. If you track your cycle, then you may know the luteal phase length, which is the number of days between ovulation and when you get your period. Livestrong.com states that the average woman's luteal phase is 14 days, but you can leave this field blank if you don't know yours.
Step5
Click "Calculate" on the ovulation calendar. After you put in the numbers, you're given an ovulation date as well as a date range when you may be able to conceive.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember to read the warnings when using the ovulation calendar on Livestrong.com. The website states that the calendar does not take the place of speaking to a health care professional.
