Download DivXRepair 1.0.1 (see Resources), which is a program that repairs corrupted AVI files. After you've unzipped and set up this software on your computer, open the program and then add as many damaged AVI files as you wish to the "Add File" list and then click "Repair Files." DivXRepair fixes any damaged areas of your AVI files and then saves the new file in the same directory as the original one, and then it creates a report of what it has done.

Install Avi Previewer 2.27 (see Resources) to your computer to repair corrupted AVI files as well as preview ones which didn't download correctly. This program also automatically backs up your files and fixes files downloaded from corrupted archives.
