Instructions

    • 1

Organize your players by selecting marbles in three contrasting colors. You will need 11 marbles for each team in two different colors and a third single marble for your ball.

    • 2

Set up your finger football field on a piece of carpeting or on a towel. The field should be about 40 inches by 60 inches. If you like, you can mark your field with masking tape to get all of the boundaries correct. Finally, place a goal on each end of the field. For goals, you can use large matchstick boxes, small gift boxes, takeout boxes or other creative recycled items.

    • 3

Place your ball in the center of the finger football fields and then set up your teams for play.

    • 4

Become a team coach, allowing a friend to be the other team coach. You will take turns flicking marbles with your fingers towards your goal.

    • 5

Move around the field one flick at a time, knocking a marble into the ball as you attempt to get closer to the goal. Follow the same rules as you would when playing soccer, timing your quarters and keeping score of your goals.

    • 6

Flick your marble onto the ball, but hit another player along the way to perform a pass. By performing a pass, you automatically get another turn to flick, but you must use the player you passed to. In this manner, you can move the ball quickly down the field by performing a long series of passes.

    • 7

Commit a foul if you flick your marble and it hits a marble of the opposite team. If you commit a foul, you must return the ball to it's original position and allow your opponent and extra flick on his turn
