How to Swap Coupons

When things get more expensive, it is always a good idea to find ways to shave your weekly grocery bill. Using coupons has always been a tried and true way of saving money. Swapping coupons is a good way to save money and help others to do the same. To swap coupons, gather up the coupons you have and start out on a search for those you wish to have.

Join online forums and message boards geared towards coupon swapping. Websites dedicated to women and families often have a forum already dedicated to coupon swapping, such as iVillage. If your favorite family friendly or budget related website does not have a dedicated swap place, ask to create one.

Become a member of a coupon train swap, where individuals mail an envelope of coupons from one person to the next on the list, adding coupons they may have and do not need. You are able to remove coupons from the envelop that you will use.
