Begin to create the bond between the conscious and unconscious mind by closing your eyes. Focus all your mental energy on relaxing the eye muscles. If you have a repetitive phrase, incorporate it now to assist you with this step.
Step3
Continue focusing your attention on the relaxation of your eye muscles until they no longer work. Spending this time trying to open your eyes is counterproductive to the task. This step requires you to tap into the power of the mind to keep your eyes from operating.
Step4
Try to open your eyes to confirm that they won't work. You may have to repeat this step a few times before you're successful. This is a vital part of the process, so you need to master it before attempting self-hypnosis.
Step5
Focus your mental energy on allowing your eyes to open. Open your eyes and return to your physical space. Practice these steps a few times for total control of your eye muscles.
