How to Make a Salt Glow Facial Scrub

Things You'll Need
- 2/3 cup sea salt
- 2/3 cup jojoba oil
- 2 tsp. fresh grated lemon zest
- Small mixing bowl
- Airtight container

Place 2/3 cup of sea salt, 2/3 cup of 2 tsp. of jojoba oil and fresh lemon zest in a small mixing bowl, and stir well to make sure the oil thoroughly combines with the sea salt and lemon zest.

Mix the salt scrub with your fingertips when you're ready to use it.

Stand in the shower long enough to moisten your skin, and then turn the water off

Massage the salt scrub into your skin, paying extra attention to dry areas like heels and elbows.

Turn the shower back on and rinse the salt scrub.

Tips & Warnings
Make a mint and lavender salt glow. Just add a few sprigs of fresh or dried mint and lavender, finely chopped. If you don't have fresh mint and lavender, use a few drops of peppermint oil and lavender essential oil.
Make sure the mixing bowl and all of the utensils are dry when you make the salt glow. Any moisture can dissolve the sea salts and cause clumping.
You can substitute other oils for joboba oil. Try cold pressed olive oil or sweet almond oil.
