Make Sweet Crab Rangoon

Everyone loves crab rangoon. Here is a recipe for a Sweet Crab Rangoon that makes the traditional recipe just a little sweeter.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 Pound fresh crabmeat, drained and chopped, or canned crab meat.
  • 1/2 tsp. A−1 Steak Sauce
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 − 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 3 dozen won−ton wrappers
  • 1 tsp of Sugar
  1. Step 1

Using your food processor will make the consistency better but if you do not have one then chop the crab very fine and mix with softened cream cheese. Combine crab meat, steak sauce, sugar, and garlic powder, until it forms a paste−like consistency.

  2. Step 2

Using your spoon, put the mixture in center of each wrapper. Take the 4 corners of the wrapper and put together and then pinch them to seal. Using a brush, put some egg yolk on each one.

  3. Step 3

Set your deep fry to 375 degrees, or you can use a deep pan and drop in and cook till golden brown. Drain on rack or paper towels and serve with sweet and sour sauce or Chinese mustard.
