How to Dress Like a Charlotte, as in Charlotte York of "Sex and the City"

Want to change your image to reflect that of the Park Avenue, preppy brunette bombshell from Sex and the City? Or, are you looking to refine your already uptown classic chic look? Well, read on 'cause here's how you can do it!

1. 

   Get some pearls. If you can afford real ones, go for it. But no worries if your style is much larger than your budget. No so real parls will definitely do. Find a nice strand that you like with a little color and some weight to them.

   Wear a dress - lots of dresses - with form fitted bodices and keep below the waistline full, leaving everything else to the imagination

3. Show some skin but above all, keep it classy. Bare shoulders, the nape of the neck and a low backline are key Charlotte "peek-a-boos." Never show cleavage, a mid-section or way too much leg.

4. 

   Wear demure outfits in bold colors. Red, orange, bright yellow - you can do them all, in high necklines and low hemlines.

5. 

   Keep your hair minimally styled, long or short. Don't opt for trendy cuts or unnatural colors.

6. 

   Let your inner beauty shine through even when you're completely covered.
