Step 1
Visit the official website of The Sims and select your geographical location. A second window will appear. Click on the "PC Games" icon at the top of the screen. See the official Web site for required elements as well as to obtain expansion packs.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Locate the box labeled, "The Sims on More Platforms". There you will find the platforms and systems related to the "The Sims".

Click on the "Learn More Information". This link will offer additional information, if you are not immediately ready to order and download the game. When you are ready, click, "Order Now". A second page will appear. Click, "Direct Download". A new window will open to allow you to order and download the game onto your computer.

Select, "Add to Cart Icon". A new window will appear on your screen. Next, use the drop down menu to select the "Electronic Delivery" method as well as the correspondence language of choice. This process allows you to download the game directly onto your computer, rather than wait to receive the game by mail.

Checkout of the EA Games store to pay for your purchase. Once you’ve entered your credit card information and confirmed the purchase, an icon will appear on the screen. You are ready to automatically download the game. You will receive a link to your email address, so you can download the game later if you choose.
