An nose piercing infection could take a few weeks to clear up. Don’t take your nose jewelry out if you have an infection, because this could cause an abscess. The bottom line, if you are concerned about a piercing infection, go to a doctor or emergency room.

You may find that you have allergies to certain types of metal that nose jewelry is made of. Surgical steel jewelry is the best, because it’s least likely to cause you an allergy.

5
You should be aware of your nose jewelry when you are changing clothes or wiping your face, as you could catch your jewelry and yank it out.

Nose jewelry comes in all colors, shapes, and sizes so you really have room to experiment. Have a couple of different sizes and shapes of nose jewelry on hand at a time. That way, you can switch your nose jewelry out when you feel like a change.
