Foam parties have become increasingly popular. They involve filling an area with a few feet of foam in which party attendees can dance or play. While many clubs hold foam parties in their interior spaces, you can also have a foam party at your home. It is recommended that you hold your foam party outdoors, due to the mess and possible water damage involved. You can purchase foam machines but it's more cost-effective to rent a foam machine.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Conduct an online search for foam machine rentals. As foam machines are more niche products, it's sometimes hard to find local businesses that rent them. You will be able to find plenty of companies that offer foam machine rentals online.
Step2
Choose the type of foam machine you would like to rent. Generally, foam machines vary according to the rate at which they produce foam. For example, some machines will produce 4,000 cubic feet of foam in about 10 minutes while other, more powerful machines can produce up to 8,000 cubic feet of foam in the same amount of time.
Step3
Decide on materials to line the area for the event. It's a good idea to protect the ground where you'll be having the foam. You can either line the area with sheets of plastic or rent an inflatable foam pit. Foam pits are gaining popularity, as they keep all foam contained within the enclosed area. The pit is resembles a large inflatable pool with sides and a base. When you rent a foam pit, most of the water and moisture remains inside the pit so clean-up is easy.
Step4
Add any foam fluid to your shopping cart. Most foam machine rental shops will sell liquid fluid that makes the foam. You pour the foam fluid into the machine and it then creates foam. Consult the rental company regarding how many gallons of fluid you will need for your event.
Step5
Consider any additional services offered by the rental company. You can often have attendants set up and operate the foam machines for you during the event, for an additional fee. If you choose to opt for such a service, the attendant will usually clean up the foam equipment after the party as well.
Step6
Submit your final order to the foam machine rental company. Most businesses will accept credit cards, money orders and cashiers' checks as methods of payment.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is possible to drown in foam, due to the high water content. Always watch small children while they are playing in foam.
