Make a Beer Bottle Bong

Using a bong makes smoking flavored tobacco easier and cooler on your lungs when you inhale. Because the smoke is being filtered through the liquid inside the bong you are able to have a gentler and milder smoke. Remember also that the cooler the liquid the milder it will be. Making a beer bottle bong is easy by following the steps below.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Beer bottle
  • Slide to hold the tobacco
  • Masonry or glass drill bit
  • Long glass test tube
  • Hot glue
  1. Step 1

Take the beer bottle and drill a hole in it at about the middle of the bottle. The hole should be just a little bigger than the glass tube you are using.

  2. Step 2

Put the glass tube into the hole so that it's just about touching the bottom of the inside of the bottle. Once the glass tube is in place use hot glue to seal and secure it to the bottle.

  3. Step 3

Add the water by pouring it into the mouth of the bottle and fill to a point just above the spot where the hole is, so that the smoke will be pulled through the liquid and cooled off. You can also use other liquids such as beer, wine, or other spirits.

  4. Step 4

Place the tobacco slide into the glass tube and pack with tobacco of your choice.

  5. Step 5

Light the tobacco and inhale through the mouth of the bottle, remove the slide and continue to inhale until the smoke is gone from the inside of the bottle.

Tips & Warnings
  • The slide that holds the tobacco can be bought at any cigar store, smoking shop, or head shop. They are very common at these stores.
