How to Get Rid of the Bump From a Nose Ring
Pierced noses are highly prone to infections. Most often, the infection is in the form of a small bump right around the edge of the piercing. Luckily, the infection will heal with the right care. Follow the steps below to get rid of the bump from a nose ring. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Sea salt
- Water
- Anti-bacterial cream
- Anti-bacterial soap
- Cotton swab
- Towel

Wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap.

Put a little anti-bacterial soap on the tip of a cotton swab. Clean the "bump" infection with soap and rinse nose with warm water.

Boil some water. Pour the water in a glass bowl or container and add two tablespoons of sea salt. The container must be wide enough to submerge your nose in. Let the water cool until it is lukewarm. Stick the infected nostril in the water. This might seem uncomfortable, but it will really help dissolve the infection. Leave your nose in the salt water solution for three to five minutes.

Pat your nose dry after you're done soaking. Put a little anti-bacterial cream on the tip of a cotton swab and apply it to the bump. Repeat this process until the bump disappears.

Tips & Warnings
Never touch your nose. Just leave the bump alone, don't pick at it or pull off the bump.
Be careful not to apply any makeup to the infected area.
Keep the infection clean. Wash the area with anti-bacterial soap.

make sure the proportion of salt and water is correct if not it will make the bump worse. To much salt in the water will irritate it. thats what happened to mine so i aske my piercer and she gave me H2Ocean its pre-mixed so there's no guessing.
