1
Insert a blank DVR disc into your "E" or "CD" drive. This is located on the right hand side of the computer.
-
2
Locate the file that you want to burn and right click on the file using your mouse. Select "Send File To". Next, select "E" drive.
-
-
3
Wait a few seconds for your computer to automatically load a default program for burning a disc. When you choose to send the file to that drive, it will instruct your computer to load the program instead of you finding it.
-
4
Look to the left of the screen for an icon or button that says "Burn" and click on it. The computer will ask you a few questions about the file in order to make sure you really want to burn it. Continue to press "OK" and "Yes" until the burning process starts.
-
5
Select "OK" once the computer finishes burning the disc. This will cause the computer to automatically eject the disc. At this point, the file will be burned onto the disc. You can use the disc in a DVD player or computer.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you're using the right size disc for your files. If you try to burn a large file to a disc that doesn't have enough free space, the computer will refuse to burn the file.
If there's something wrong with your DVD burner, the computer will refuse to recognize the blank disc. If this should occur, call Dell for technical support.
