Place the pie plate in the oven. Set the jar in the center of the pie plate. Lastly, center the record album over the top of the jar.

    • 3

      Monitor the melting process carefully.

    • 4

Allow the record album to droop down.

    • 5

When the record has become limp and the edges have ruffled, take the pie plate, jar and record album out of the oven all together.

    • 6

Allow the record bowl to cool and harden before taking it off the jar.

Tips & Warnings

  • Oven temperatures may vary, so time and experimentation may be needed.

  • You have a very short window of time to arrange the ruffles of the record bowl once it comes out of the oven. Try wearing gloves to avoid becoming burned.
