Locate a motorcycle supply store, preferably one that sells just about anything. Some of the Harley Davidson hobby shops sell a variety of different types of souvenir items. You might find the perfect motorcycle cake mold in this type of shop.

Buy a cake mix at your local market. Read the instructions on the back of the box to determine if you need any additional ingredients. Some cake mixes are complete and some require a couple of eggs.

Preheat the oven to the suggested temperature on the cake mix box. Follow the directions on the box in order to prepare your cake mix properly.

Grease and flour your motorcycle cake pan so the cake mix does not stick during baking. Or if you are lucky, your pan will already be coated with a non-stick finish.

Pour the cake mix batter into the motorcycle mold. Do not overfill or your cake mix can rise up over the top and spill during baking. Set your timer to the suggested baking time on the back of the cake mix box.

Remove the motorcycle cake pan from the oven when baking is complete. Set it aside to cool. Once the cake is cooled, frost the motorcycle cake with the frosting of your choice.
