Hate to say it but....
Kids will gobble up the opportunity to create their own turkey cupcake that tastes wonderful too!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brown Cupcake Liners
  • Cupcakes
  • White Frosting
  • 2 packaged of flaked coconut
  • Coconut Marshmallows
  • Gummy Fish
  • Chocolate Sprinkles
  • Plastic Knife
  • Cupcake Pan
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Toothpick
  • Water
  1. Step 1

Mix and bake your favorite cupcake recipe in your favorite flavor; utilizing the brown cupcake liners (or other autumn colored liner).

  2. Step 2

Spread both packages of flaked coconut on a cookie sheet and bake with the cupcakes until golden brown, turning once to get both sides of each flake. Approximately 5 minutes on each side in a 350 degree oven.

  3. Step 3

Slice coconut covered marshmallows into three pieces. This will be the heads of the turkey.

  4. Step 4

Lay out supplies of frosting, sprinkles, sliced marshallows, toasted coconut and gummy fish, as well as a plastic knife, toothpicks and a little water for each child to create their own turkey.

  5. Step 5

To create a turkey start by topping the cupcake with frosting as a base. Press a slice of coconut marshmallow, standing up, into one edge of the cupcake. Apply two chocolate sprinkles as eyes to the marshmallow head (a toothpick dipped in water is the easiest method). Slice a gummy fish in half and press into the marshmallow head as the turkey beak. Press various colored gummy fish, tails first, on the opposite side of the cupcake, as tail feathers. Sprinkle the toasted coconut over the entire surface.

  6. Step 6

Take a picture and gobble up!
