Eyeliner is a must for any pulled together beauty look. With the wide array of colors that it is available in, every woman is bound to have and to use eyeliner everyday. Removing eyeliner is not nearly as easy as choosing the shade to put on. When eyeliner is removed in the wrong way, you can end up looking like you have two black eyes or end up with your eyes being blood shot. There is a way to remove your eyeliner without these problems.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 well lit mirror
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 container of cotton swabs
  • 1 bottle of liquid eye make up remover

    Clean Your Eyes

  1. Step 1

Lay out all of your items that you will need to remove your eyeliner on the sink in front of the well lit mirror. To keep eyeliner from running in your eyes or down onto your face you need to not move to other tasks before you complete this.

  2. Step 2

Dip one end of a cotton swab into the eye make up remover. Make sure the cotton is soaked with the cleaner. Run the wet cotton swab over the area where the eyeliner is on the first eye. Repeat this action twice with the first dip of the cotton swab over the same spot..

  3. Step 3

Dab a tissue under the eye that you just used the cleaner on. This will clean up any smears that may have occurred. Take another cotton swab and repeat step 2 if there is still eyeliner on your eye.

  4. Step 4

Repeat steps 2 to 3 for your other eye. When you have removed the eyeliner from both eyes, wet a tissue with the eye make up remover and wipe it over both eyes to clean up any spots that may have been missed.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use this same technique to spot remove eyeliner when you applying it if you make a mistake. If you are spot removing skip the parts where you use a tissue over the skin.
  • Choose an eye make up remover that is hypo allergenic. Some of this will get in your eyes from time to time. This will prevent an allergic reaction from happening.
