- Skateboards with colorful art
- Recycled skateboards
- Socket wrench
- Spackle
- Putty knife
- Model paint to match skateboard
- Small paint brush

Collect old, discarded skateboards. The skateboards could come from your own skateboarding days, friends, yard sales or the local thrift store. Create a theme by collecting skateboards of the same color, or skateboards with similar artwork when decorating a room with skateboards.

Remove the wheels from the bottom of the skateboard using a socket wrench. A half inch wrench should work. Clean the skateboard, front and back. Fix any cracks or chips with spackle. Re-touch any chipped or scraped artwork with the model paint.

Hang the skateboards on a wall as you would any other artwork. Create patterns with the skateboards by hanging them in pairs or hang one skateboard on each wall in a room when decorating with skateboards.

Attach four skateboards to a tall plastic or wooden trash basket using strong glue.
