How to Insert a Picture Frame into a Publisher Document

Microsoft Office Publisher is a software that can be used as a tool to design brochures, flyers, newsletters and business cards. You can also use Publisher to create word processing documents, marketing tools and websites as well as publish to the web. Publisher has many templates and wizards that help users through the process of creating documents and tailoring documents to the needs of the user. You can insert a picture frame when you have a picture that you want to put inside the picture frame that is located in a file on your computer or that you have copied from another spot. Once you have created your picture frame, you will be able to get a picture from a file on your computer, from your scanner, from your camera or from a clip art file. You can also use Publisher to cut/copy and paste a picture inside a picture frame.

How to Insert a Picture Frame in a Publisher Document

1. Open Publisher by double clicking on the Publisher Icon.
2. Go to the File pull-down menu and click once on New.
3. Go to the Insert pull-down menu.
4. Put the cursor over the word Picture. You will see several options where you can get pictures from including: Clip Art, From File, Empty Picture Frame and From Scanner or Camera.
5. Click once on Empty Picture Frame. A picture frame will appear in your document.
6. Put the cursor on the broken line of the picture frame.
7. Click and hold down the cursor dragging the picture frame to the place on the page you want to put it.
8. Release the picture frame when you have it where you want it.
9. Click once on the picture frame. You will see small circles around the picture frame.
10. Put the cursor on the circle on the top left side of the picture frame.
11. Click and hold down the cursor dragging the picture frame to the desired size.
