How to Do the Savasana Pose

  1. Step 1

Start by sitting straight up, legs extended together in front of you. Softly roll your back vertebrae by vertebrae on to the floor, forming a straight line with your body as you exhale.

  2. Step 2

Slowly move your feet apart a little wider than your hips. Breathing naturally, release your arms out to the sides of your body, facing your palms upwards.

  3. Step 3

Exhale and sink your whole body into the ground. As you are lying there, allow your consciousness to flow through your entire body, relax, and allow every part of your body touching the floor to "melt" into the ground. Listen to the sound of your breath and release your mind and body of every tension, toxin and negative energy.
